Who is FPC?

Florida Photo Collective has been in the works for a few years now - founded & curated by Sydney Marie & Nick Slavens.

The goal of this company is to give a luxury wedding photography experience to couples who may not have the budget to book a luxury photographer. Sydney & Nick wanted to find a way to make this type of service affordable for all Central Florida couples.

Their goal is to build up an incredible team of photographers who desire easy access to portfolio work & a community of photographers to build each other up. Sydney has been mentoring photographers for about 5 years and would love to continue to do so, but in a more intimate setting. The FPC team will have full access to Sydney & Nick’s photography knowledge. They want to help photographers build their businesses while easily earning extra cash.

Our process is very similar to Sydney Marie’s brand. We have an amazing & focused admin who is in full contact with our couples. Photographers can commit to weddings dates as close as 12 weeks out! Our photo team is always required to hop on a quick intro / timeline call with our admin & couple and is provided with an easy shots list + overall guide on how to shoot the wedding day.

Most of you have probably met our incredible admin, Reese. She has been working in the wedding industry for years & has mentored under Sydney for the last year and a half. After working as a florist, photography assistant and many other sides of the industry, she has truly enjoyed the admin side of the business. She recently graduated in hospitality from the Rosen College, and is now a full time social media manager and virtual admin.

You can always count on Reese to quickly answer a text or email with efficiency and enthusiasm. Reese is here to educate, encourage & get excited with our couples throughout the entire wedding process.

Communication is our number one goal at FPC. We will be working closely with planners & local vendors to make the photography experience as enjoyable and easy as possible.

We want our team of photographers to do what they do best & we’ll take care of the rest.

FAQ’s

  • TBD. Please, respond to Sydney with desired hourly rate for primary shooting + secondary shooting.

  • YES! This is important for us at FPC! You will be able to use the RAW images that end up in the gallery only 2 months after the wedding date.

  • We understand that our team of photographers will have personal obligations & their own business to run, so you can commit up to 12 weeks prior to the wedding date!

  • YES!

    We are offering a bonus payment of $250 to any photographers who book over 5 weddings under FPC.

  • We have a pretty simple set up for our team of photographers.

    Once you’ve committed to the date, you’ll receive the timeline, client & vendor info. We require one 10-15 minute intro call with the couple & our admin.

    The day before the wedding, you’ll receive a shots list of basic required shots such as “groom’s reaction to bride walking down aisle, etc.”

    Once you’ve finished shooting, you will be sent a link to upload all RAW images to our system.

    You may be asked to be on the timeline call as well, which is a 20-30 minute call.

    You will always be compensated for your time.

    2 full frame bodies with dual card slots

    50mm lens

    35mm lens

    70-200mm len (if possible)

    2 flashes

    64G SD cards

  • Yes!

    This is a BIG part of FPC. Sydney & Nick want to help run a successful business.

    When signing up with FPC, you will have full access to Sydney Marie & Nick Slavens. We will also have monthly meet ups/work hangouts to continuously build relationships with each-other.

  • You will be using WeTransfer to transfer RAW images to us.

    From there, you will keep the images on an SD card for at least 7 days. You may delete any or all images after these 7 days.
